So...it has been a while since I have posted something. Like a month! Yikes! What negligence!
I thought I would do a May Recap to show what I've been up to.
In the beginning of May, you all remember I went to visit my grandmother in North Carolina.
and we scooted over to Winston-Salem to visit with this little guy and his mom, my cousin, Anna.
Nanny-Nett rode back to RVA with me for Mother's Day, so we could spend it all together.
We had a bunch of people get together to celebrate Mother's Day at Brunch--my Mom, Dad, brother (Alex), Hubby, Nanny-Nett; my mother-in-law; my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and niece and nephew (Virginia and Carter); then my sister-in-law's Dad and step-mother. Quite the crew! After Brunch, we all went outside and posed for Family Pictures--here are a few:
I think we clean up pretty well, don't you?
My Mom and Dad co-hosted an Engagement Party for one of their good friend's daughter who is getting married later this summer. It was a lot of fun! The theme was a Beach Music Party, so there was shagging, a pig picking (complete with pig on the smoker), and lots of beach music!
The hostesses with the Bride and Groom
The Bride-to-Be and her Dad
Future Mr. and Mrs!
Lots of dancing was going on as the night went on!
It was a lot of fun!
The next day, I went to Godfrey's here in Richmond to the Drag Queen Brunch to celebrate the birthdays of two of my dear friends, Lissa and Marty. We had a blast!
The Birthday Girls, Marty and Lissa.
The whole gang--Me, Miggie, Lissa, Marty, and Amity.
Now, for some of the "girls"...
(caution, a possibly offending picture at the end of the post)
(I really think Marty should use this as her Christmas card)
(I warned you)
And on that note, I am really not sure there is anything else I can say.

I love the mothers day pictures!
ReplyDeleteAnd I went to a drag queen brunch up here today for a bachelorette party - yours was much more tame that ours!! They all looked like your last picture. Definitely a fun adventure!
